The SATTLER Group is an internationally active, family-owned company headquatered in Austria. We are leading in the production of special technical textiles, especially for outdoor use, and in the planning and implementation of membrane constructions, especially on a textile basis.

The SATTLER Group ranks among the top European manufacturers of technical textiles and is the world´s leading supplier of sun protection fabrics. In addition to our headquaters in Graz-Thondorf, there are two more production plants: one in Rudersdorf in the province of Burgenland, Austria, and another plant in Greven in the province of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.


More than 20 million m² of fabric are produced for the global market per year. With our state-of-the-art machinery we produce, among others, shading fabrics protecting against UV-rays, and sunscreen fabrics for residential buildings and commercial constructions according to EU standards for Screen Equipment Regulations. Research and development in every respect contribute to our world wide success.

Today, technical textiles are used for numerous applications - SATTLER´s palette ranges from tarpaulins for trucks and tents to digitally printable textiles for indoor and outdoor use in advertising and booth construction.

SATTLER´s potential for innovation was particularly implemented in the fields of environmental and industrial technology: in storage systems, in textile architecture, and in individual solutions for particular industrial applications.

The area of textile architecture with its high qualitative demands was early recognised as a separate business branch. The German subsidiary CENO TEC in Greven is specialised in textile architecture and offers, among others, solutions for roofing of stadiums, booth constructions, and other textile constructions for environmental and technical projects.
