Sattler AG Announces Plans to Acquire Outdura from Shuford Mills
Global performance textile company, Sattler AG, based in Graz Austria has announced plans to acquire Outdura from Shuford Mills. The acquisition will include the purchase of Shuford Mill’s production operation and distribution center in Hudson NC.
“We have long admired the Outdura brand and the management team”, comments Herbert Pfeilstecher, CEO of Sattler. “We are very excited about the growth potential of the Outdura brand.”
Manfred Heissenberger, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing of Global SDA sales adds, “We believe Outdura’s strength in the Casual Furniture and Marine segments will complement our current focus on the Sun Shading segment.”
All Shuford Mills’ employees will be joining the new company. Natalie Scott, VP of Sales and Marketing, Casual Furniture and Jeff Jimison, VP of Marine and Awning, will continue to lead Outdura brand growth in their respective segments.

The planned acquisition will be finalized in December.

Twilight Pearl, art. 297 and 283, provides everything a modern functional fabric in the area of screen and glare protection must have.
This newly developed article is of course FR according to DIN 4102 B1 and offers excellent optical values. On the one hand it guarantees a nice visibility to the outside, while offering sufficient glare protection and contributing to the cooling of the rooms on the other hand. Matching current colour- and design trends from various areas, this fabric excels by its colours. Besides traditional grey shades, new lively and trendy colours were added to the range.
This new article does not contain any PVC and is odourless. it is available in two different light-transmission levels.

On the one hand there are physical elements like the variety of landscapes, living elements like flora and fauna, abstract elements like light- and weather conditions and on the other hand - not negligible at all - the human elements like human activities or built environment.
