Gas bags

The pressureless external gas storage for installation in existing buildings

Gas bags are the earliest gas storage systems. In most cases gas bags are realised as cylinders or angular cushions. The shape is often determined by the space available.

They are mounted in a hanging or horizontal position in existing buildings, rooms or in specially made containers which are for the most part made of steel. In order to measure the filling level, various systems may be used.

Normally, gas bags are operated without pressure.

Membranes are made of polyester fabrics which are PVC-coated on both sides. Different membrane types are used depending on static requirements, statutory provisions and customer requirements.
